Poor Cameron!

Cameron came home last night and we were so excited to hear how prom went. Well to our surprise it was a horrible night. When we left them they were driving to a friends house to take group pics and then get on the bus and go to prom. Apparently the bus they got on ended up having a broken air conditioner. Remember Sat. was over 100 in Brentwood. The temp got up to 105 and by time they made it to San Fransisco 3 people almost passed out and all 50 of them looked like drowned rats. All the girls hair and make up was ruined and all of them were so sweaty they looked like they just got out of the shower. No one from the bus took pics at the prom. I'm so mad! They are all going to try and contact the bus company and get their money back. Personally I think they should pay for all the money that went out to have hair and make~up done also. We will see what happens. They girl that booked it was on the other bus which ended up being fine.
After the horrible bus ride Cameron tried to make the best of the prom. Aparently Cameron's date was being a biddy. She wouldn't dance or do anything. He said he ended up leaving and just dancing with all his friend. He tried real hard but nothing worked.
They left the prom and went to check into the hotel. Mind you there were 4 of them staying in the same room. They booked a 2 bed room but when they checked in they only had a 1 bed room. It just made a bad night worse.
He dropped off his date the next morning at her hotel in Santa Cruz and headed to the boardwalk and hung out with all his friends. They camped in Santa Cruz. He said he at least had fun in Santa Cruz! Thank goodness. I feel so bad for all those kids on his bus. Here's a sad quote. "Senior Prom is suppose to be the best night of my high school career and it ended up being the worst night of my life" Cameron.
How sad is that!
