Cameron's Week

So we left off with Cameron being sick on Mothers Day! It lasted until Wednesday night. Poor guy! Fever, vomiting, the works. We were so relieved when he said he felt better Wed. and he actually ate something. Three days of no eating. He lost 8 pounds. May be I should get it. HA HA! No thanks. It's crazy... Last year he got Mono the week before Prom and this year he ended up with the flu week before prom. Hey at least he made it to Prom (Senior Ball). I wish I was a kid now. We picked up his tux on Thursday... Dapper Dan... Oh and by the way Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Bradford for the hanky you gave Cameron... He used it in the pocket of his jacket.

We ordered the corsage... He is really big on buying the girls corsage with a bracelet instead of just an elastic band. He didn't notice until he got home that they forgot the bracelet. Took it back and they had to remake it. It did turn out pretty! Thank goodness.



We ordered the boutonnière at the same time so they would match





Cameron's date is a friend named Shelby Murrain... Super sweet and personable young lady. I was so happy to see her classy dress. Some of the dresses the girls wear today are so skimpy it was nice to see a classy dress. She brought it by months before prom. She wanted to be involved in all the planning... helped pick out the tux... booked the room. She really knew what she wanted. A classic 50's style. Cameron fought the bow tie but lost and I think it was the right choice. We went to Shelby's house for pictures her request of course. They looked great together!







So after all the pics we said fun pic time... Shelby knew what to do... Shy Cameron wasn't sure. Love her personality! No doubt in my mind she won’t let Cameron be quiet and shy for long!

They wanted to take pics with the parents. I kind of expected from what she said earlier in the week so I dressed better than I would of. So thankful I had a clue or I would of showed up in shorts and wearing a hat! After all it was over 100 degrees. We felt bad for Cameron in his tux. The worst part was the Nissans air conditioner went out this week so driving to Shelby's must have been horrible for Cameron.



After the photo shoot at Shelby's they left to go to another friends house and take group pics... I sure hope Cameron gets a few copies. From there two buses were picking up around 90 kids. Yeah you heard me right Party buses...All I can say is I want pic and will be very upset with Cam if he doesn't get some. I was going to go and take them my self but Cam gets really weird about that so I figured if he promised to get me some I'd let it be.
I just talked to him and they are on there way to Santa Cruz. So here’s the rest of the weekend. The Monday after prom is always senior cut day. So all the seniors are heading to Santa Cruz tonight and Camping and having a good time until tomorrow night. So I won’t get the details about his prom until probably Tuesday.
