Fun in San Fransisico

We had an eventful weekend... My parents invited us to go and stay the night in San Francisco. How can you say no to that! So Saturday morning we got up and met my parents and Richard at the Intercontinental Hotel on Howard! What a nice hotel. It was a rough start... Took a long time to get the right room. Our room was fine but they messed up a few time on my parent’s room. Any way for there inconvenience and after complaining a few times they were up graded to a great room! Richard, Mark and my Dad Mom! This was our room view! Pac Bell Park! My parent’s room! Panoramic view of the city! Gotta laugh at this... Sit on the toilet and look at Bloomingdales... Or they watch you! Too funny! We went to dinner at One Market. The restaurant was nice but we were surprised how small the portions were for the price. Thank goodness we had gone out for a few drinks and a snack before dinner... After dinner the running joke was we would have ended up at some fast food restaurant if it wasn't for the snack. Don't get me wrong my meal tasted great just very small. After dinner we went to Lou's Blues Club. The band was Stan Erhart. Good band! We had a great time. I was surprised that the crowd was so small. Made for a nice evening out... Didn't have to fight for seats or space to dance. Mark actually asked me to dance... I didn't have to drag him onto the floor this time. She looks so happy! She's sooo beautiful! Richard and my mom! Having a great time! Mark and I! Front Row seats! Hardly ever get that at Lou's! Mark always has to be funny! When we returned from the club Richard spotted the piano in the lobby. So he tried to play but it didn't take them long to kick him off! Couldn't have been because it was 2 in the morning! The following morning we went to breakfast in the hotel... Nice buffet... Included with the room. My mother and I had pedicures. We couldn't book them together but they were one after the other. Ok I've had alot of pedicures and I have to say this was one of the best... The seating wasn't that great but the treatment was phenomenal'. The usual clip and clean up but it included a salt rub and a paraffin wax. Wow was that relaxing. The lounge waiting for the treatment. This is the wax! Finished product! Ahh so soft and pretty! Not for long I walk barefoot too much! Dave and Maureen met us at the hotel in the morning. We went and walked around North Beach and then walked to the wharf area. We were going to go to Buena Vista's for an Irish Coffee but it was way too crowded. So we ended up at Tiernan's Irish Pub it was alot bigger and we were all able to have a few drinks and talk at one table! To end the weekend we drove to Berkley and all had dinner at Cactus. Great little taquaria. Thanks for taking us there Dave and Maureen! The next day we went to Mike and Jorgelina's for a BBQ. It was such a nice day! What a feast! This is Matthew and his newly planted garden... Looking forward to seeing all the veggies! Cameron was at Turlock Lake with the Baxter’s all weekend and Emily spent the night with AL and Jessica while we were is San Francisco! Hope everyone had a nice weekend! We sure did!
