Big month for Cameron

Yeah Cam is home safely. They had a great time. There are 1338 picture so I definitely wont be posting. Here is the typical dutch farmer costume picture!

The trip home was so long. They already had a 6 hour lay over and then they ended up with a 2 and a half hour delay. By time they got off the plane it was 11:15 pm.

The mom's waiting... Oh it took so long!

Friday we had a few of his friends come over for dinner so they could say Hi and goodbye! This isn't everyone but at least I got a pic before they all left!
Darren, Cameron, Dom, and Pat

Saturday we spent the day packing the stuff Cameron wanted to bring up to Chico. Wasn't too much but took all day to weed through it! Richard and Rian came over and we loaded Richards truck with most of it and had a great dinner. We got up early and were on the road by 8:30. My parents had a bunch of furniture and kitchen stuff so they met us there with a loaded truck! We made it up at to Chico at 11:30, unloaded, and helped him unpack.

After helping unpack we headed over to Madison bear garden. Had a few drinks. We really needed it... 102, humid, and the boys decided not to turn on the air and suffer through the heat with fans to save money. I personally think they are crazy when it's that hot but hey it's their place!

After a few hours and a few pitchers of beer we headed over to the campus... Right next door. My family hasn't seen the campus so we gave them a tour.

We said good bye to my parents at the car and headed back to Cameron's place. So all day we were ok and he said he was ok but when it came to saying good bye... OH MY! I was actually ok with it all until I gave him a hug looked up and he was all teary eyed. It has to be quite scary for him. New home, new town, don't know anyone really, and school doesn't start for another two weeks. Once we talked to him and told him he can come home anytime or call if he needed anything he seemed to be ok but still terrified. It was a surreal ride home. I woke up this morning wondering how he felt. He called around 10:00. He's doing well. I know he's ready for this and once he gets use to the new town and meets some people he's going to have a blast! Let's all cross our fingers he finds a job before everyone gets up there for school!
Thank you Dad, Mom, Richard, and Rian for helping us move him up and making it a fun day for all! Cameron is coming home on Thursday night because we have an A's game to go to on Friday! Looking forward to seeing him and hearing how is week went!
