Poor Cameron!

So this past week has been a nightmare for Cameron. Thursday 4~16~09 Cameron left the house and with in two minutes called me and said he just got pulled over. For what you say... Speeding... Less than a block from the house. 51 in a 35. Ouch that's gonna cost us. He's gonna get his first lesson on traffic school... Oh yeah that's right they let you do it on line now. Hopefully it humbled him and he will slow down! I can't complain because this is his first in two years. By 18 I already had at least 3.


Now the rest of the fun. Sunday the boys were working on their cars. Cameron has had a squeak and they figured out what it was. Fixed it on Monday and Tuesday. Tuesday night at around 8:30 he left to go get some money at the bank to buy his prom ticket the next day. At 8:45 I got a phone call from Cam he was in a total panic. "My car just caught on fire"... I asked if it was out and he said yes. Hung up and went with Mark to the bank. When we got there. Cameron has three friends with him and they were all standing at least 5 feet away from the car. Mark looked at it and couldn't figure out what it was. Oil every where... he thought it was the transmission. So we called AAA... They were sending a tow truck. I drove the girls and Andrew home. An hour into the wait the tow company calls and said they can't be there for another 2 to 3 hours. So we looked at it more and realized it was the power steering hose that cracked. They removed the power steering and Cameron drove it home.He bought the new hose... Cleaned the heck out of the car(there was power steering fluid all over the engine and hood)... Tried to put it in yesterday and the darn piece was broken. Took it back and the new one should be in today. I hope the rest of the week goes better for Cam!

Broken down in the bank parking lot! I didn't have my camera but lucky for me Emily left hers in my car.
