Last week of April ~ Where does time go??

Yeah 6 orders done... I was so stressed about finishing that I actually finished a day early! Check them out! They are pretty good if I do say so myself!





As I finished the orders I was relieved and then I received two more orders and an added order for the wedding I'm working on. Needless to say another long month ahead of me!

So you might be wondering what's with the hat. Well... We wanted to make sure the photo's truly represented Cameron. When do you ever see him with out a hat... only when it's a formal affair ie... Prom or Wedding. So that's why he's wearing a hat in all the photo's. Who knows when we will get photo's of him again and by then he will have changed! I still can't believe we are this close to college. Speaking of college... The boys were approved for the town house! Yeah! We go and sign papers on Tuesday. 4 boys... Two story town house. What a lucky kid! I'm so excited for him. We go to orientation on June 16th to sign him up for all his classes. Where did time go???

Emily is getting ready for the eighth grade dance. I have never seen her so excited about anything in along time. She picked out her dress. We are going to have a girls day with her friend Megan and touch up their hair... It's time to re~dye. Megan wants me to do her hair. So we need to practice. She also want me to alter her dress. It's her mom's prom dress that she want made into a spaghetti strap. I'll see what I can do. Should be interesting. Didn't know I was so talented. I'll post pics when I start that project. Then Emily want to straighten her hair for the dance. Girly girl stuff... We all know how much I like that.HEE HEE... Guess I'll have to grin and bear it! Love her and will do anything for her.

So a real stressful couple of day's for Mark. Wednesday he received word that they were closing his facility down tomorrow. Wow 3 days to prepare for layoff. Today he went in expecting to get a severance check and be home by noon. I didn't hear from him by noon so I called and he couldn't talk. Can you say... STRESSED! I was on pins and needles until 3:30 when he finally called to tell me they did shut down but have decided to keep him and 4 others on board! YEAH!! We still get a pay check and have benefits. Only down fall 25% pay cut and he will be working from home. They will possibly be renting a small office but not sure yet. Hey at least he has a job!!! So happy about that!
