Weekend in Tahoe

What a great weekend. I have to say I was a little worried about having 16 people at the Cabin. 7 of the 16 being teenage boys all 17 and 18. But it was a great time. We left here on Friday at 12:30 and arrived at the house at 4:00 enough time to unload and have a little fun in the snow. Teenage boys... They are all good kids so I guess a little dirty mindedness is allowed. Check out the sculptures they built. Too funny. The boys went out front and built three snow skate ramps. They spent the rest of Friday out there and got up early Saturday. They were outside horsing around from early morning until dark. I got some great pics and video of them. In the evening we played Guesstures what a fun game. It's great for large groups. Basically it's timed Charades. Alot of laughing! They also played Stratego, Monopoly, and poker. Andrew and my dad were the poker winners! You can't go to the snow with out making a snowman. Justin and Steve did a great job on this one. Snowman with a hair doo! On Sunday we got up early and went to Sierra at Tahoe for some skiing. It was windy and wet so the adults chose to forgo the skiing but the kids all wanted to go. We waited in the lodge and had a few drinks and were warm. I would of loved to ski but I hate being wet and cold. When the boys came in for lunch I was glad we chose not to go. They were soaked. They said they had a blast... That's all we wanted! We told the boys to meet us at the truck between 2:00 and 2:30. Well... Cameron, Steve, Rian and Emily made it but the rest got stuck on the hill and were a little late. So we all played in the parking lot while we waited. The snow was coming down hard by then. Good last snow fight!
