Busy Thanksgiving Week!

Cameron had great support from My parents, Richard, Rian, Brad and Tracy, and Uncle Dave and Aunt Maureen! Thanks! Grandpa and Grandma Bradford also called every week to find out how football was going!

Thanksgiving was boring this year but we did the best we could. Cameron's team made it to the second round of playoffs and he had practice on Thanksgiving so no going to Dad and Mom's this year. I prepared the full Thanksgiving spread and it came out great! It was just the four of us so a quiet day. I have so much food left over. I think my family will be sick of Turkey by weeks end.
Yesterday was the game. Unfortunately they lost 42 to 6. Cardinal Newman is ranked #1 in their division so the chances were slim. Cameron was sad after the game. No more football for him. My parents came to the game... We went to dinner with them and the Puppo's. We decided to make a day out of it since the game was so far away... Santa Rosa. Great dinner and glad we were able to visit before the game. It was sad to see all the Senior boys cry... I think the reality of it being over forever was hard for them. Hey they had a great 4 years. Couldn't ask for better. Made it to the NCS championship playoffs the first two years of varsity. That is a miracle in itself and says a lot for the coaching staff. Most teams don't even make it once into the playoffs. I don't know what we're going to do next year. Wow no football. Hopefully Emily will find a passion that we can enjoy to watch her do.
I'm working on helping her find an after school activity but she only seem to be interested in the social side of after school. That's ok and I'm happy she has found a set of friends that treat her well and she enjoys being with. The best part of it all is they are all comfortable hanging out at our house. She is becoming such a wonderful young lady. I'm happy to see the confidence she has and the ability to be herself around everyone.

I think I already told you Emily dyed her hair black. I finally was able to get a picture of it. here it is. I like the change and so does she.

Finally I got the pictures back from my mothers 60Th celebration. I made a slide show of it because there we so many pics. Our day started out with a bike ride over the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito and we took the fairy back. Then we went to Forbes Island for dinner. Enjoy the slide show!
Mark's surgery is Wednesday at 7:30 am. It's an out patient procedure. I will let everyone know how it goes as soon as possible. I'm so happy we have been able to avoid another attack. Came close one day but was able to control it. Only 3 days to go!
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Now it's time to get ready for Christmas. Another crazy month for us. Emily and I have a lot of Craft projects and baking planned. I just hope we can get to all of it! I'm looking forward to spending Christmas with family since we misses that at Thanksgiving. This was only the second Thanksgiving I wasn't able to spend with my family. It was hard but I survived.
