Mothers Day 2009

This weekends weather was amazing. Friday Mark and I went to dinner with the Puppo's. Cameron was out with friends and Emily stayed the night at Jill's. We woke up Saturday morning and decided it was time to clean the house. It really looked like a tornado hit it. I've been so crazy with work I haven't been able to keep up on things around here. Cameron woke up late and didn't feel good. Bummer! I worked on Mothers Day gifts for both our mothers. Yeah I know it will be late for Marks mom. So sorry Ardith! It's coming. By mid afternoon we realized Cameron was really sick... Fever 101.9. I took care of him the rest of the evening. At around 6:00 he started to through up... AHH... I couldn't believe it. He was up all night getting sick... Poor guy. We woke up... well I was up all night so I got out of bed at 8:00 and got ready for brunch. We had reservations at Crawdad's in Sacramento. It's such a nice place to sit out side and enjoy food, drinks, and watching the boats on the River. We left the house at 9:00... I wasn't happy about having to leave Cameron but he really wanted me to go. Had a great time with dad, mom, Richard,Mark and Emily. Missed Cameron. After brunch we went to Crocker Museum checked out the exhibit and then we hung out on the porch and talked for awhile. Really enjoyed the weather!

We got home at 3:30 and Cameron was asleep! Went to say happy mothers day to Jorgelina. They invited us to stay and have drinks with them. After the drink I went to check on Cameron he was still asleep. The Clements asked us to stay for a BBQ. Couldn't refuse a great offer. Mark made guacamole... I taught him well. It was fabulous! We had a great meal... Check it out... What a feast!

Wonderful Mothers Day! Only wish Cameron could of enjoyed it with us!
He did wake up at around 8:00 last night. So I hung out with him in his room for about 2 hours. When we woke up this morning and he still had a fever I decided to take him to the Docs. He has the FLU! We decided per the docs recommendation not to test for swine flu. He's 48 hour into the flu so over the main hump and if we tested they would have to report it to the county health department and then the school. And even if the test came back negative he wouldn't be able to go to the prom which is this coming Saturday. The doc thinks he will be better with in three day! I sure hope he is... wouldn't want him to miss his prom. Poor kid... This is the same thing that happened last year. Got sick the week before prom with Mono! Crazy!
