This was a fun weekend! First Friday night was Cameron's last season game which was also Senior night. They have all the seniors walk on the field before the game with their parents. It was kind of sad. No more high school football for us. They lost the game 14 to 12 but it was an exciting game anyway. Cameron had a great catch the best part was Brad, Tracy, My parents, my Uncle Dave and Aunt Maureen, Richard, Rhonda, and Rian were all there. Cameron was really upset after the game... I actually thing he was emotional because the reality of the season being over. The coach even cried.
The next morning we got up and went to San Fransisco for my mothers 60Th Birthday. We road our bikes over the golden gate into Sausolito. It was fun a lot longer than we all expected but a great time. That evening we went to Forbes Island for dinner. What a wonderful time. We had 19 people there and I'm sure my mom enjoyed herself. I made a slide show for everyone to view and a copy for them all to take home. I was glad everyone had such a great time. My mom was all smiles the whole night. I'll post pictures when I get them back.
On our way home Cameron got a text from his coach they made the playoffs. Yeah at least one more game. The great thing is the game is here at 7:00 on Friday. He was lucky we were already in the car. The coach called a mandatory meeting at 12:00 on Sunday. We had just got in the car at 11:00. He made it right on time. needless to say Mark was driving too fast. But hey he was supper excited.
Last night Mark went to the emergency room at 11:30pm. He has been having stomach issues and on Friday had an ultra sound. Well last night the pain was so unbearable he couldn't take it anymore. So we did find out what it is... He has Gallstones. We are waiting for the doctor to call back with a referral to schedule surgery to have his Gallbladder removed. It's a common surgery and an out patient surgery. So only a few hours in the hospital and at the most two weeks at home. He's just glad to find out what the issue is. I'll keep you posted.
