Cameron's first fender bender

Monday Cameron was rear ended for the first time.
Boy was he mad. There was quite a bit of damage but
we are happy to say it didn't bend the frame. He
was stopped at the light in front of Safeway on
Balfour when a man driving a Yukon hit him going
anywhere between 15 and 20 mph. It bent the bumper,
dented the trunk, buckled the right side rear fender, bent
the tail pipe, and damaged the passenger side door.
Cameron's friend Andrew was in the car with him
and is a little sore but both the boys are OK. Cameron
said he was so mad he wanted to get out and beat the
guy but when he got out the man was so worried about
the boys and in Cameron's words "super nice" he was able
to calm down. I'm just glad it was a minor accident and no
one was hurt. The car was put in the shop today... pretty
fast... I was amazed how fast they approved everything.
We are getting a rental car in the morning so no one will
be inconvenienced by this. Looks like Cameron will get
the paint job earlier than expected.

Fridays game was amazing. They beat Antioch final score
was 42 to 15. The boys played so well. I usually complain
that the game is boring when they are ahead that much
but this was just an all around great game and fun to watch
even in the rain. The boys were even surprised they thought
the game was going to be tough to win.

Picture of the seniors who have played since freshman year.

Emily went to a friends for the night and had
fun trick or treating. It was a little sad for me. This is the first
Halloween ever that I haven't seen any of the kids dressed up.
Oh well there is always next year. The worst part about it all...
no pictures. She didn't even take any pictures for me.

This Friday is a big game. They will be playing Freedom.
Heritage and Freedom are tied for second place in the league.
They both lost to the first place team. If they beat Freedom
they are also guaranteed to go to the playoffs again this year!
We hope they win!

Well I'm glad Cameron's OK! (Sorry about the car though.) As for no pictures... Sorry for that too... but at least she had fun!
