Drive in movies!

The car door came in yesterday so Emily and I drove to Marks work and between the three of us were able to put the new one on.Emily and I got a work out trying to hold the door up while Mark bolted it on. It was heavier than I thought it would be. You can't even tell it's a new door. The only thing that is dented still is the bumper and we'll take care of that later! At least we have a window that's not broken and works. Amazing we were able to find the same color door!!

Mark was golfing late with a client and wasn't going to be home until 10:00. You know what that means... he went straight to bed when he got home. So I decided to take Emily to the Drive in movies. Only one left around here. It's in Concord. I try and take the kids a few times every year. Great deal... bring your own food and goodies, make a comfy bed in the back of the 4runner,turn on the car radio and enjoy a double feature for only 6.75. Can't beat cheap fun!
Waiting in line for the box office to open

getting ready to eat dinner

Dinner... Togo's we shared a roastbeef sandwich and Asian chicken salad! YUMMY!

The Loot!

Rock on!

It's mine it's all mine... HEE HEE!

Ok so we really didn't eat hardly any of it. The only things opened were the cracker jacks, whoppers, and gummy worms. Emily ate Gummy worms... I don't like the sour ones. We ate the cracker jacks but hardly any of the whoppers. Just means we have candy for the next trip to the Drive ins!

The set up! It was rather comfy!

Silly girl! Worm in the mouth!

That's better!

We saw Ice Age 2 and Up! Both cute movies. Didn't get home until 1:45am. So glad the by pass is in. Makes the drive home so much nicer!
Going to watch the cornfest fireworks tonight!
